Rhenumis by Dr. Reinhard Fischer Auction has been
involved in selling counterfeit items, deceptive practices, and failure to issue refunds.
In May 2024, during Auction No. 12, a counterfeit 1914 Gangut silver ruble was sold.
The coin was shipped four weeks after payment was made.
Its inauthenticity was confirmed by two independent expert evaluations.
A refund was promised upon presentation of the expert reports.
A credit note was issued for the value of the coin; however, four months have passed, and no refund has been received.
Concerns regarding the Rhenumis by Dr. Reinhard Fischer Auction house:
- They sell counterfeits.
Incompetent experts? Intentional fraud? The question remains open. - Delayed shipment of paid lots.
Based on my experience:- After the first auction, items were shipped 4 weeks after payment.
- After the second auction, shipment was delayed 10 weeks.
- Poor communication.
Messages often go unanswered for up to 3 weeks — if they are answered at all.
